Greenbush Child Caring Inc. (GCC) is a private, not-for-profit organization that has provided programs for school-age children since 1983.
Programs that we offer include before and after-school, vacation day, half-day and a summer camp day camp. The children we serve are in grades K-8. Additionally, we offer a summer Leader-in-Training Program for youth 13 to 15 years of age.
Our before-school programs operate from 7:00–9:00 a.m. and the after-school programs operate from 3:00–6:00 p.m. GCC provides children with a safe and secure environment in which to play, socialize, and be creative. Art projects, outdoor activities, homework, gym games, dramatic play, cooking, and board games are some of the activities we offer. Children are encouraged to choose how they want to spend their out-of-school time while in our care.
Our summer day camp program operates from 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. We offer a wide variety of recreational and enrichment activities that are both exciting and educational. Some of our daily activities include cooperative games, cooking, nature, sports, art and science. In addition to our on-site activities, our Explorer Camp has weekly field trips to local attractions including, amusement parks, bowling, museums, roller-skating, and much more.
Job duties include supervising children while leading recreational activities. We seek caring, energetic, and patient individuals who enjoy working with children.

Current Employment Opportunities & Benefits
- Activity Aides (ages 16 & 17): PT, Monday-Friday 7-9 am and/or 3-6 pm. Experience working with children required.
- Activity Leaders (18+): PT, Monday-Friday 7-9 am and/or 3-6 pm. Experience working with children required.
- Site Directors for School Year: FT, 32 hours per wk: Mon-Fri. 6:45-9 a.m. and 3-6 p.m. Sept.-June, Monday-Friday: 6-7 hour shift; July-Aug. 8 hour shift (w/30 min meal break). Additional hours per week includes: office time, shopping, planning, meetings, half-day and full-day programs.
- Education Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field, OR School-Age Child Care Credential AND
- Two years direct experience working with children under the age of 15 years, including at least 1 year supervisory experience.

Site Director Benefits: Sick time accrual upon hire. After 90 days of employment personal/vacation time will accrue along with eligibility to enroll in health insurance and misc. insurances (dental, vision, Aflac pd. by employee). Employees contribute to health insurance premiums.

Full-Day Vacation Programs:
- Registration is available for all Full-Day Programs, 3 weeks in advance from the date they will take place.
Half-Day Programs:
- Registration is available for all Half-Day Programs, 3 weeks in advance from the date they will take place.
- Half-Day Program accommodations are contingent upon staffing.
- Enrollment will be on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to families who are regularly enrolled in the PM Program on the day the half-day will take place.
- There is NO tuition fee for the Half-Day Program if your child is normally enrolled in GCC for the afternoon the half-day falls on.
School Year 2026-2027:
